Finally we Arrive...

12 hours later we arrive in Paris. Somehow it felt like we were only on the coach for about 4 hours due to massive amounts of really uncomfortable sleeping! (even on the back row with SO much space!) Somehow i ended up as the tour guide, and successfully managed to get everyone to the beautiful Sacre Coeur.

This is my absolute favourite place in Paris. I LOVED it when i came in November...was also SO much sunnier back then! We had rain this time..but was still equally as beautiful. I love the peacefulness inside. I have to come back and watch a service taking place...i can imagine it being truly magical. Such a shame about the freezing weather...but this didn't dampen our spirits! We then went round all the artists and in true parisian style...got a nutella crepe. YUM.
I love the streets around the Sacre Coeur SO much. They have so much history. Plus one of my rules in life is to ALWAYS look up wherever i go. You find amazing archetecture...and here i found some beautiful buildings.
We saw a lot of these streets on our massive mission to find the Moulin Rouge. Kirsty 'apparently' knew the way...she was definitely lying :P we found it in the end..along with a gazzilion sex shops including the sexodrome which provided a lot of 'banter' (kirsty and Rachel's word of the week!)...but anyways..
Moulin Rouge..dissapointment..kind of...not quite Nicole Kidman Hollywood version!! But definitely worth a visit. We ate literallllly opposite the not so stunning Moulin Rouge...after walking around the backstreets for about an hour and a half and ended up with a really expensive and really cheesy toasty thing.
Knackered by this point? Yes. Bedtime was definitely needed at this point and so i managed to navigate us home :)

Home Sweet Home

Bonjour, I'm back!!
Had such an AMAZING (haha) time. Literally amazing. The Culture, The Views, The Sights, The Giggles, The Wine, The Photos, The Breakfast, The Quotes, and of course... 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 :D The cold, freezing snow..maybe not so amazing! We went round in a big group of 12 which was so funny. "NUMBERS!" We also didn't stop thinking and spying trends everywhere we went...go us! Ooo and Story Time with Jessica Earland probably made my trip.
When can fmb go back?

10 Minutes to go...!!!

Chanel Anyone?

Organised?

So, I've had a really busy day, but i literally have been so excited to get home and write up our itinary in my new notebook. Writing this down has made me realsie how sad i am! I cant wait.

Let me explain...
Day one..Traveling. Arrive at 13:00. yup i'm not good with no sleep so im literally going to want to sleep as soon as we get there!! Definitly going to stock up on Red Bull!

Day two..Versailles. Excited? yes. Didn't get a chance to visit Versailles in November so really glad this has been planned!
Free time from 16:00 then meeting for drinks at 7:30 oooh la la.
Day three.. Museum. Musee Baccarat.

14:30... Fondation Pierre Berge Yves Saint Laurent. Intreging. Sounds exciting. I need to get on google asap and find out what this is!

Day four... More Museums. I love museums and we didnt do any of the major ones in november..just Paris Photo (amazing) so which ever one we decide to go to im sure will be amaze.

Louvre? Musee D'Orsay? Pompidou Centre? ooo decisions!
Apparently the best hot chocolate in the world can be found at Angelina. 226 Rue De Rivoli...

Day five... Premier Vision. excited. Already given you a bit of info..can't wait to tell you all about it!

Room for 3 Please!

Here are the amazing two girls I'm sharing a room with in Paris- Sarah Lawson and Lizzie Wright.
I'm hoping they're up for sneaky midnight feasts and right now I'm picturing a rendition of Girls Aloud 'Jump' video! Remind me to bring my speakers!

Premier Vision

Day 5 sees fmb attending the renowned Premier Vision industry fair. This is probably the reason that swayed me into going to Paris again. So excited for this. It will be so useful for our next brief on trends and will give us a massive insight into the industry and how it works. It literally looks Masssssive. Oh god I'm going to get lost and I'm sure i will pick up WAY to many leaflets and end up with a massive back ache as usual!
p.s What am i going to wear!?!!

Update!

Paris Update!
I have just been to BonBon and brought a brand new notebook for Paris!!
Hopefully by the time i return it will be brimming with amazing, useful information..lets hope anyways! I'm sure the however many hour coach journey will allow for some time to make notes etc!
After this DVC essay I'm going to write up our itinerary..excited ha!

Paris in November.

Here are some of my pictures from mine and Benjamin's amazing visit to Paris in November.

Panic.

Shock Horror...
My camera broke last weekend during a very energetic night at the SU whilst carrying out an aerobics routine performed by the one and only..Mr Motivator.


The first thing i thought was oh my god I'm going to Paris in less than 2 weeks what am i going to do..telling my dad was defiantly not going to happen. I seem to always break cameras at crucial points?!


Anyways, yesterday i treated myself to a lovely new Panasonic Lumix Camera..i even upgraded when i realised i needed some damn good shots of beautiful Paris.

Ok, so i am 100%, totally obsessed with this shoot. It was like love at first sight. Its wonderfulness graces the walls of my uni room, and i probably spend at least 10 minutes a day admiring.
The shoot was from UK Vogue, and features Lily Donaldson shot by Patrick Demarchelier.
I love the energy, the power, the black and white that makes each image incredibly striking.
Pure Wow.
